Visitation Ministry
The Visitation Ministry is alive and active a First United Methodist Church. Visitors from First UMC visit each week with those who cannot leave their homes for various reasons or are in one of our many retirement centers. Flowers that were on the altar and lilies and poinsettias from special services, find their way to the homes of our shut-ins on many occasions.
The Visitation Ministry also delivers communion to those that want to be part of this Holy Sacrament, but who cannot attend worship. What an incredible way to include these special people in our church family.
Pastor Owen & Jackie Tharp, Lay Visitation Ministry Coordinator, ask that if you know of any church members who are unable to come to church, are in the hospital, or who just need a visit, to contact the church office (386) 734-5113.
If you are interested in being a party of our Lay Visitation Ministry, please call the church office and let us know of your interest.
