Our Purpose:

To provide a safe and loving Christian environment in which each child gains a positive self-concept and develops to their full potential through Christian teaching, encouragement, and kind, loving, social interaction.
Small class sizes and qualified staff provides care that allows each child to feel free to learn, explore, be creative, develop skills, solve problems and share with others, all while playing and making new friends.
A wide range of developmentally appropriate activities and meaningful experiences are provided for the children to learn more about themselves, their families, their community and other cultures.
A loving, positive atmosphere is within this small school ‘family” which creates a sense of belonging.  We believe in parent involvement and encourage all parents an active role within our program.

Parents’ Morning Out:

This program is open to children on a non-discriminatory basis, without regard to race or religion.  Children must be 2 years old before entering and not yet 3 years old by September 1.  These children need not be toilet-trained.

Preschool:

This program is open to children on a non-discriminatory basis, without regard to race or religion.  Children in this program must be three-years-old before September 1.  These children must be toilet-trained. 
When classes are filled, in Parent’s Morning Out or Preschool, a waiting list is maintained for that school year.
This program was founded in 1997 and is a ministry of First United Methodist Church of DeLand.  It is a non-profit organization supported entirely by tuition fees and church supplements.  The school is licensed by the Florida Dept. of Children & Family Services and a member of The United Methodist Assoc. of Preschools.  Teachers and staff are selected on the basis of their caring and compassionate way with children and their professional training.
